Your Guide to French Restaurants in Shibuya, Tokyo!


At the heart of Tokyo is Shibuya, a ward you will end visiting many times for eating, going out, exploring. While you're in the area, here are the best, must-visit French Restaurants in Shibuya. The restaurants are ranked from most affordable to most expensive.

Viron is a bread shop, but also has a brasserie serving the freshly baked bread on the second floor. It is located 7 minutes away from Shibuya station.
The VIRON breakfast, comes with various types of bread, and 6 jams, honey and chocolate spread to put on your bread! You can also get a cup of coffee or tea, and orange juice. Enjoy some tasty bread and coffee to start of your day!
For lunch and dinner, there are a ton of delicious dishes to try, such as the roast pork or the Nicoise-Style salad.
You can spend anywhere between ¥767 - ¥2,957.

Les Deux Magots Paris

Les Deux Magots Paris is located close to the Bunkamura Museum, about 10 minutes from Shibuya station. The lunch course is incredibly reasonable! For only 1,900 yen, you get an appetizer, a main dish, and coffee. Lunch sets are between 1,200 and 2,800. Main dishes for dinner are between 1,800 and 2,800 yen. You can also come in for a dessert set. The resto is cute and welcoming, you definitely need to try it!


This tiny bistro in the heart of Shibuya, is only about 5 minutes by foot from Shibuya station. This restaurant is incredibly popular because it is delicious, unpretentious and affordable! A 4-course meal starts at only ¥2,800.


Tribeks is in the Hotel Century, close to Yoyogi station, Shinsen-Shinjuku Station or Minami-Shinjuku Station. Breakfast is ¥2,592 for a lovely buffet, with pancakes, waffles, fresh fruit, etc. Lunch is ¥3,240 for a beautiful French buffet. Dinner is ¥5,940!


Benoit is walking distance from Omotesando station, and close to United Nations University. This restaurant is simply beautiful in itself; there are huge windows with a lot of light coming in. The entrance is a little hard to find, but you'll be so happy once you do! Also, you'll need to make a reservation.You need to try the cassoulet!

Lunch is between ¥5,000~¥5,999; and dinner is ¥8,000~¥9,999.

La Table de Joel Robuchon

La Table de Joel Robuchon is located in the beautiful Ebisu Garden Place. It's a lovely place to take a stroll after a date. This restaurant is a Michelin-starred restaurant, so isn't on the cheap side, but it's perfect for a date or a special occasion.
Fixed menus for lunch are between ¥4,200-¥9,000; And between ¥5,500-¥18,000 for dinner.
Service and food are incredible! The presentation reminds you that you really do eat with your eyes first!
