Prost! Enjoy Oktoberfest in Hibiya, Tokyo

It's that time of year again, when the beers come flowing! Yes, Oktoberfest is here again! This year marks the 15th Anniversary of the annual event held in Hibiya Park, Tokyo. Expect plenty of German and local beers, German-style eats, a heap of live music and a wicked atmosphere to celebrate the start of September!

Located in Hibiya Park and run September 1 - 10, Hibiya Oktoberfest is one event not to miss in the start of September. Come celebrate with a group of friends at this outdoor annual event and sip of your favourite German or local beers.

Weekdays: 16:00 ~ 22:00
Weekends: 11:00 ~ 22:00
Chow down on some traditional German favourites like bratwurst and currywurst! Try a range of German-style sausages and other great Japanese-German fusion dishes!

How much?

This is a free event which is a definite draw card. Note that there is a 1000 yen refundable deposit for beer glasses - so don't let that golden pilsner carrying beautiful thing out of your sight!

Learn the Ein Prosit beer drinking song!

A great way to join in the fun is to learn the Ein Prosit song, literally meaning "let's make a toast!"

Getting there

Located in Hibiya Park near the water fountain, you get here a couple of ways.

- Take exit A14 from Hibiya station on the Hibiya or Chiyoda metro lines - 1 min walk
- Exit B2 from Kasumigaseki station on the Marunouchi line - 5 min walk
- Exit A7 from Uchisaiwaicho station on the Toei Mita line - 5 min walk
