Amazing, Traditional Sushi at Kizushi, Tokyo!

Kizushi is a long-established sushi restaurant in Ningyocho district, Tokyo. They are well known for the traditional sushi made of fresh and natural (not farmed) seafood. You should stop by Kizushi on your trip to Tokyo!

Kizushi (㐂寿司)

Kizushi is a famous sushi restaurant established in 1923. You can try traditional Edo (old Tokyo) style sushi here. It is just a 3-minute walk from Ningyocho station.
The restaurant has a great atmosphere where you can feel Japanese traditions. It is impressive to watch your sushi being made by the chefs in front of your eyes.


They offer a variety of sushi including seasonal seafood. The rice is seasoned with Japanese red vinegar made from sake lees and rice vinegar, which reduces the fishy smell of the raw seafood and increases the natural sweetness of the rice. Whatever you order, you will be impressed by freshest, sophisticated, and delicious sushi. People usually spend around 10000-20000 yen for dinner.

Set menu

They also have reasonable set menu both at lunch and dinner time. The lunch set consists of 8 kinds of nigiri sushi (topped with slices of seafood) and 3 kinds of rolled sushi for 5,000 yen. The dinner set consists of 6 kinds of nigiri sushi and 6 kinds of rolled sushi for also 5000 yen.


Kizushi is a great place to experience the authentic sushi and traditional atmosphere if you are in Tokyo. Ningyocho, where the restaurant is located, is a nice area with many old-fashioned stores, so why not exploring the area and taking a break with delicious sushi at Kizushi?
