Yoshizaki Shokudo 吉﨑食堂
Shoshizaku Shokudo is the awesome type of lively izakaya with a lively southern island vibe, affordable local hearty foods, and good drinks. For food, one of their specialty is the agu pork rayu hot pot. The sashimi courses are also said to be nice. They also have an Okinawa course in which you get all kinds of island specialties. You can add an all-you-can-drink option for ¥3,500 (2.5 hours).
This is a popular nightlife spot in Naha that is very foreigner friendly. The bartender speaks perfect English. Drinks are only about ¥500, and they're pretty strong too! You can play pool and baby foot for free. The sound is good and it has a chill atmosphere. There are about 35 seats. It's a pretty ideal place for a night out of drinking with some friends, or just to meet new people if you are alone.
If location is important to you than it's hard to beat what Infiniti has to offer. Located in Nakagami-gun, on a third floor overlooking the sea, you get a stunning view from the terrace seats. There are many foreigners that go there and it's a local's favourite as well. They serve pretty good pasta dishes and seafood and they offer a wide range of drinks from ¥500 to ¥800. They sometimes have DJs come over so the place gets a party vibe during the later hours during which it's easy to socialize.
Epica is one of the largest clubs in all of Japan. Cover charges are about ¥2,000. They have VIP tables and a large dance floor. Music is generally hip-hop, R&B, reggae and top of the charts hits. You generally find all kinds of people there.
This club is on Kokusai Dori. People that go are generally in their 20s and 30s. It's not the biggest club but is always super packed and has an exciting atmosphere. Entrance is ¥2,000 for men and ¥1,000 for women.
