Intensely Rich Ramen At Hirataishu Asian In Osaki, Tokyo

There are so many kinds of ramen but one that many people love is the rich "kotteri" kind. Pushing the genre to a new limit, you can try Hirataishu Asian's extremely rich ramen. Warning, it's highly addictive!

Feel free to follow favy!

Hirataishu Asian (平太周 味庵)

Hirataishu Asian is located 5 minutes from Gotanda station, or 30 seconds away from Osaki Hirokoji station. From Monday to Saturday, it is a ramen shop open until 0:00AM. You can enjoy eating one of the richest ramen bowls around Tokyo!

An Intensely Rich Bowl of Ramen

The key to the rich taste to the ramen is the pure pork backfat that is sprinkled onto the ramen. You can enjoy the rich taste of the soup once the backfat melts into the soup.
The super thick noodles are soaked into the rich soup and is a great match! Although it looks intensely oily and greasy, the rich taste is just perfect and is not too much.
This is another popular item you can get there. It's called the Bakumori Abura Abura Men (爆盛油脂麺), which directly translates to something like "explosive size oily greasy noodles". The name is brutal to the point!
The richness of these noodles coupled with a strong taste of garlic is almost overwhelming! You can a nice deep savoury and slightly sweet taste from the pork umami too.
The chashu pork was simmered in tare sauce for some time, which made it super tender and savoury too.
As if all this richness wasn't enough, you can even add some mayonnaise on your noodles! There are condiments available so that you can change the taste of your ramen.

Be Careful.. It's Super Addictive!

This ramen is definitely special and this unforgettable taste can be quite addictive!
I love eating good food and discovering new places to eat. I hope to share with all of you some of the places that I recommend!
